Fighting Back Partnership has been serving the citizens of Vallejo for over 20 years and we are very proud of the services we have provided for children, families and neighborhoods. Many of our programs are models for similar programs throughout the United States.

Fighting Back Partnership started with a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and because of our great success; with thanks to the vision and drive of our first Executive Director, Jane Callahan, they continued to fund us for 12 years. During that time we built strong collaborations, founded new programs, and created partnerships that serve today as our fundamental base. It was a very difficult struggle to transition from the RWJF monies to a primarily grant-driven organization but we succeeded in that goal.

In these difficult economic times, fundraising has become vital. The money that we raise through corporate donations, personal donations, and fundraising events is used to cover our administrative costs and hire grant writers to keep us going providing services to our community. There is a Direct Payment Plan form on the home page of our website which you can use if you wish to make a continuing payment. You can also send a check directly to Fighting Back Partnership at 505 Santa Clara Street, Third Floor, Vallejo, CA 94590. Remember we are a 501 (c) (3) (ID 68-0298092) so your contributions are fully tax-deductible. What better investment than to invest in your own community.

I invite you to become a part of our success and support our efforts to support your community. Ways that you can become involved include: (1) become a mentor for youth, (2) contact a program director to become a volunteer--the directors are listed on the Home Page under Contact Us (3) work on a neighborhood clean-up, (4) serve on a committee such as fundraising.
