Social Services - Creating A Beloved Community
Fighting Back Partnership, in collaboration with Solano County Health and Social Services, and First 5 Solano Children, funded by the Office of Child Abuse Prevention, has established an intensive home visiting case management program for pregnant women, mothers with infants and their families. The focus is on populations with known histories of substance use, current substance use issue, and mothers of substance-exposed infants.
The project, entitled “Creating a Beloved Community: Family and the Road to Resilience,” has two primary goals: 1) to address the immediate needs of the families in the program and, 2) to help strengthen the existing service delivery system in Vallejo while increasing resources to address these specific issues.
